Linhai Scooters

Linhai Scooters is a scooter manufacturing company that was established in the year 1956 in China. Back then, Linhai manufactured only small engines but over the last five decades it has transformed into the world’s largest two wheeler manufacturer. With over 50 years of expertise in manufacturing engines and two wheelers, the company currently manufactures over 1.5 million engines a year and over 750,000 scooters and motorcycles. From 2003 onwards, the company started equipping all its two wheelers with Yamaha engines. An ISO 9002 certificate was awarded to Linhai Scooter Company in the year 1999.

Linhai also manufactures Crossover Utility Vehicles under the name of Big Horn. The Big Horn 300 is a 4 stroke 300cc liquid cooled engine CUV. It has a Yamaha engine which delivers 21 hp. The Big Horn 300 has 4 wheel hydraulic disk brakes. Another model of Linhai Big Horn series is Big Horn 400 UTV IRS. It comes with independent front and rear suspension and hydraulic bilateral disc brakes. It is equipped with 352cc 4 stroke water cooled engine which delivers a maximum power of 22.8 hp. Big Horn 400 UTV IRS is provided with an electric ignition system.

The flagship model of Linhai has been the Aeolus 300 which comes with a 4 stroke engine. The engines capacity is 275cc and it delivers up to 18 horse power. Aeolus 300 has 12 inch alloy wheels and disk brakes for both front and rear tyre. In contrast to this, the Aeolus 260 has a 257 cc engine and delivers 16 hp. Other than that, it comes with all the features of Aeolus 300. In the lighter segment, Linhai has two scooters: Aeolus 150 and Aeolus 50. Aeolus 150 comes with a 147 cc 4 stoke engine which is air cooled and generates 8.7 hp. Both the tyres of these scooters are equipped with disk brakes and 12 inch alloy wheels. The Aeolus 50 features a 49.5 cc four stroke engine that delivers 2.9 hp. It has 10 inch alloy wheels and disk brakes for both tyres.

The latest in Aeolus series is the 400-B EFI aimed for touring purpose. It is the most powerful scooter in the Aeolus series featuring a 352 cc water cooled 4 stroke engine. It delivers a maximum power of 22.8 HP. The rear tyre is 12 inch but the front tyre has been increased to 13 inches for more front height. It comes with a powerful 12 V 14 Amp battery and a flawless electric start mechanism.
