Ever since it was established in the year 2001, X-treme scooters became a household name with respect to the scooter industry. The company basically operates on an outsourced distribution. This means that they manufacture the scooters themselves and the shipping of the finished goods is handled by a third party. As of today, the shipping is handled by Green Max Distributors which has its head quarters in Tacoma Washington. Green Max owns thirty thousand square feet of ware house space and has twenty full time employees handling the job of distribution. This is what ensures shipping in less than four days to most parts of the United States.

The warehousing facility has led to many offers for customers by X-treme. If someone takes the delivery of scooters at the warehouse itself, one can get a discount ranging between twenty to two hundred US dollars. This option is also offered to distributors who are within an eight hour driving distance from the docks.

X-treme Scooters has also started its operations in the southern part of China. Strict quality control measures are practiced here by company engineers to ensure the best quality and pin-point precision when it comes to technical specifications.

The company deals in a variety of scooters today. Electric scooters, bicycles and mopeds, gas powered scooters and mopeds, sea scooters, pocket-bikes and even electric scooters designed exclusively scooters for police officers.

The electric scooters range from the basic 24-volt single battery configuration to a 48-volt four battery configuration. All of them have a 30 day warranty period and a lifetime technical support. Electric bicycles are far available in two configurations, power-assisted electric cycles and fully electric bicycles. X-treme also has a three-wheeled electric bicycle in its production lines. The mainstream electric bikes are available in 300 watt, 400 watt and 700 watt options. They have a 90 day warranty period.

X-treme’s gas scooter business is still in a nascent stage and currently only four 50cc models are available. A thirty day warranty is available for them. X-treme is slowly and steadily capturing the gas scooter market with its four 150cc models that are strong in build and comfortable to ride. They also have two, highly durable electric sea scooters one with a 350 watt battery and another with a 250 watt power house. The company’s pocket bike range is highly attractive. Each of the two 50cc and two 36 watt electric models are unique on their own.
