Razor was founded in 2000 in Cerritos, California and almost immediately became a sensation with teenager and younger  children. They are known for the Razor kick scooter, a scooter that was wildly popular almost from the moment of its release and has shown no signs of slowing down. But they don’t have kick scooters. There is also a series of Razor electric scooters, including the E100, E200,  E200S, E300, and E300S. Although Razor is known for their kid friendly products, Razor electric scooters are actually designed for anybody above the eight of eight. The E100 has a smaller frame, with a limit of 120 pounds, and only goes ten miles per hour, which makes it ideal for smaller children, while the E300S has a larger frame, is suitable for ages 12 and up, and has a limit of 220 pounds. Its fastest speed is fifteen miles per hour, which makes it suitable for recreational use or for errands around the neighborhood, though it is not an alternative to cars, motorcycles, or larger scooters.

The Razor electric scooters range in price, though they are all fairly affordable. The cheapest is around one hundred and twenty dollars, while the most expensive is two hundred and seventy. They are high quality items, so they will last for a long time and survive against the normal wear and tear you would expect from active children.
